International Mitzvah Day – Sunday 18 November

The Jewish Community of Warsaw is a partner of the International Mitzvah Day organized by the Lauder-Morasha School. The project is deeply rooted in Jewish values.

When: November 18, 11:00 am –    to 2:00 pm

Where: Lauder-Morasha School, ul. Wawelberga 10, 01-188 Warsaw

We invite you to take part in Mitzvah Day activities on Sunday!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
1. bring clothes, toys, an EXCHANGE that will go to the Center for Foreigners on Targówek,
2. cook vegan food for the homeless,
3. bring zucchini for cooking,
4. cook vegan broth for the homeless,
5. distribute cooked food at the Central Train Station on Monday evening with “Daj herbatę Foundation” (Fundacja Daj Herbatę),
6. bring sweets for the homeless (they will be distrubuted at the Central Train Station on Monday evening),
7. make a Hanukkah card for Seniors – 400 sheets will be sent to all seniors under the care of the Jewish Welfare Commision in Poland,
8. come to our cafe and shop, from which the proceeds will be donated to the to the support of the Daj Herbatę Foundation (www.dajherbate.pl).
