Rabbi Lieber was born just after WWII in a DP camp. Both his parents are from the Krakow area. Rabbi Lieber attended various yeshivot in the NY area. Together with his wife, Pessie, he started traveling to Poland still under the communist regime to be our Hazzan for the High Holidays and starting in 1988 to lead and work at the Lauder Camp. The Liebers are also a frequent stop for anyone traveling from Poland. They are constantly hosting both visitors and those of us who now live in the US.
We are indebted to both Rabbi Herschel and Pessie for all they have done for us over the past nearly 30 years and for all they will yet do for us.
